The Kiss Hoarder

Visual artist Valentina Lari presents latest work based on a short story written by novelist Lana Citron.

Collaborating for the first time in this mixed media exhibition, Lari's series of watercolour illustrations perfectly reflect the edgy, visceral and gothic tone of 'The Kiss Hoarder' - a darkly bittersweet tale of a woman's quest for true love and the resulting tragedy when she stumbles upon it.

Citron is known for her quirky, poetic writing, where there are no conventional, 'happy ever-afters', and Lari's work, emotionally charged and ethereal, captures the essence of the narrative in a stark yet beautiful manner.
