The Three Musketeers

Leigh Shine brings Willis Hall brings Dumas' swashbuckling tale 'The Three Musketeers' to the stage in a lively, tongue-in-cheek version of the original book.

Set between 1625 and 1628 (nearly half past four), some of the characters are based on genuine people in history, while others are purely fictional.

D'Artagnan, a young Gascon, goes to Paris to join King Louis XIII's Musketeers and is befriended by three valiant members of that force: Athos, Porthos and Aramis. He shares their adventures, foiling the evil plans of Cardinal Richelieu and Milady de Winter to discredit Louis' wife, Anne.

Slick, sexy and full of sword fighting, this splendid romp sees the director take some serious seasonal liberte with the story.
