An exhibition of London Group sculptors curated by Bill Watson and Clive Burton.
The London Group has been in existence and representing the diversity of fine art practice through both highly noted and dedicated practitioners alike, for 95 years.
Recently it has been thought that the few contemporary sculptors in the group should have the opportunity to show in a way and in a spatial environment that is more suited to "stand alone" three dimensional objects, than is very often possible through the exhibitions and spaces normally used by the Group.
The Cello Factory is such a space. Owned by Susan Haire, the current president of The London Group, it is hosting the nine works, by nine sculptors from across generations that will "stand alone" both literally and in their difference.
Exhibitors: Bryan Benge, Clive Burton, Tony Carter, David Chalkley, Janet Patterson, Chris Poulton, Victoria Rance, Tommy Seaward, Bill Watson.
