The Silence of Sleep
Heidi Locher's series of concrete painting installations intend to interfere with the fabric of the Jerwood Project Space.
These pieces will be installed to fit within the architecture but to somehow disrupt the visual reading of the space by creating tension between the floor and the walls.
Heidi Locher graduated as an architect from the RCA and went on to setup her own modern architectural practice, Paxton Locher Architects which, in 1998, carried out the original transformation of the site at 171 Union Street into the Jerwood Space.
