Matthew Dunster's razor sharp, infinitely moving one-man play returns to the Young Vic after a sell-out debut last autumn in the Clare.

William Ash (Clocking Off, Doctor Who) will again play Adam.

Sex, fury, violence, chatting back, school, your mum and dad - and a nightmare of a paper round.

You Can See the Hills recalls those moments growing up that are, at the same time, unique and universal: a dark moment of rebellion against your mum, the bloodlust of your gang, the summer evening feeling that you'll live forever.

A vivid, fast-talking, visceral snapshot of life growing up in the 1980s. Adam crashes through his teens, haphazardly steering himself out of Oldham and into adulthood.
