Urban Birding at Bermondsey Spa

Starting in Spa Gardens, taking in streets and open spaces, this walk will lead you all the way to Paterson Park. On the way you can find out how to spot birds everywhere you go, including urban parks, streets, bridges and hedges.

At 12.30pm in Paterson Park you can meet David Lindo, the Urban Birder from BBC's Springwatch and the One Show, and learn how to make bird feeders for your garden.

Also in Paterson Park between 1pm and 3pm you can help to plant a hedge along the fence; over the months and years to come you'll be able to watch it grow and blossom.
