The Bunting Project

Southbank Centre and the Young Vic are coming together for the first time to work on a new open-air performance of Coleridge's poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

The performance on Saturday 4 July will take place in Southbank Centre Square (outside the Royal Festival Hall) which will be dressed to look like a giant wedding feast.

500 metres of bunting are needed to decorate the square - come along to the Waterloo Action Centre and help with this task.

Register your attendance with Kirstin at the Young Vic on 020 7922 2861.

Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.

Drop in for an hour or two or stay for the whole day. No sewing skills required - there are a variety of tasks.
