St Mary Magdalen Church: Bermondsey Street's historic church is a fascinating place to visit and there will be short tours illustrating certain aspects of the building from 6.30pm to 8pm. The church will be lit by candlelight and carols, Christmas music, mince pies and mulled wine will all help create the atmosphere of a traditional Christmas.

The Fashion & Textile Museum is holding a special Christmas shopping evening with 10% discounts in shop that night. And talk (book direct with the museum) by leading fashion writer Ian R Webb on his new book about fashion legends Foale and Tuffin to coincide with the museum's exhibition of their work.

Staff from local PR firm The SPA Way will be singing in the street to raise funds for the Medecins Sans Frontieres Children of Iraq appeal.
