Belfast booksigning for Shoot the Model author

Author David Franklin is expected to be on board HMS Belfast to sign copies of his book Shoot the Model during the Bank Holiday Weekend. His novel features several areas of SE1 including Butler's Wharf, Lower Marsh and Kennington Road. The Maltese press has praised the book for its authentic description of Malta where some of the action also takes place. The book is on sale at both the Imperial War Museum and the HMS Belfast shop as part of the IWM's Bomb to the Beatles exhibition to which the author has contributed historic photographs. The planned signing session is scheduled for Saturday morning 28 August on the Belfast quarterdeck.
