Student charged with murdering Rod Hall

Usman Durrani, aged 20, of Hallywell Crescent in East Ham is expected to appear before a Bank Holiday Monday sitting of Camberwell Green Magistrates Court.

Rod Hall, the 53 year old literary agent, was found dead after a friend told police that he had failed to keep appointments. A post-mortem showed that Mr Hall had died from stab wounds to the chest and stomach.
