Thames enthusiasts sought for ITV series

London SE1 website team

Do you have strong ties to the river, whether work or leisure? Are you passionate about the Thames? If so, Mosaic Films wants to hear from you for WaterWorks, a new ITV documentary series.

Great River Race
Last year's Great River Race

Award winning television production company Mosaic Films is currently working on a six part documentary series about the history of working life on the River Thames for ITV.  Each 30 minute film will be based around a distinctive contemporary story which we would like 3-4 characters to help tell.  Intercut with this will be a strong historical element to give background to the stories and a strong link between the past and present.

The producers are looking to cover subjects including the Thames Barge Race, marine archaeology and the Great River Race.

Themes likely to be explored by the series include industry/trade, tourism, environment/development, flood defence and transport.

If you've got a great Thames story to tell or a close knowledge of the River and its working life, contact [details removed].
