According to The Times, the hotel – on storeys 37 to 51 – will be Shangri-La's first hotel in Europe.
Shangri-La is the first tenant to sign up for the tower, which is backed by a consortium led by Sellar Property Group.
The paper reports that construction is due to start this year, for completion in 2009.
