Old Kent Road nightclub shooting: police appeal

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to a double shooting at a nightclub in Old Kent Road on Thursday morning.

Shortly before 6am on Thursday 10 February a double shooting occurred at Cents Nightclub, 266 Old Kent Rd, SE1.

Several shots were fired inside the club and two men injured.

Both victims (aged late teens and early twenties) are believed to have each received at least one gunshot wound to the leg.

Police were made aware of the incident when they received a call stating that two males had attended a South London hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. The men remain in hospital.

There is no description of the suspects at this stage.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have left the scene when the shooting occurred.
