Anglo-Dutch tour of SE1 social housing

Housing association bosses from Holland and the UK this week paid visits to a number of ground-breaking housing development schemes in SE1 during a three-day trip to London.

Members of the the Anglo-Dutch Directors' Club (ADDC) - from housing associations in Holland and the UK - visited 6 Barons Place, Peabody Trust's latest prefabricated scheme for keyworkers in Southwark. They then went on for a tour of the facilities at Darwin Court (on Crail Row SE1), Southwark's housing and training resource for the over 50s. The development from Peabody Trust celebrates its 2nd birthday this summer.

The group included chief executives from eight housing associations in Holland and the UK members included Donald Hoodless (Circle 33), Simon Dow (Guinness Trust) and Stephen Howlett (Peabody Trust).
