SE1 tops movie locations league
Five of the top 20 London locations used by filmmakers in the past year are in SE1, according to a new list published by Film London.
Topping the list, with over 200 days of filming in the past year, is the BA London Eye – a key location for the forthcoming The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse and numerous TV programmes. In second place was Battersea Park in Wandsworth which has featured in the last year in the forthcoming feature films Click and Stoned; and third was the Millennium Bridge, host to TV hits including Spooks and Dirty Filthy Love.
Potters Fields comes in at number 4 in the table, with recent filming including Dr Who and Little Britain.
Tower Bridge – placed tenth in the league table – boasts recent filming including Inside Out, Back in Business and Spooks.
Bankside, which features in Woody Allen's forthcoming Match Point, took 15th place in the table.
