Sven leads celebrity launch on South Bank
Sven-Goran Eriksson, Gary Lineker and Peter Shilton were among the celebrities at a launch event for a mobile phone network on the South Bank last week.
T-Mobile, the new name for One2One, was launched in the UK on Thursday lunchtime at an open-air event on the South Bank which featured live link-ups with similar events in Prague and Vienna.
Commuters at Southwark Station may have been confused by the fliers handed out during the rush hour inviting them to come to "The Octagon, Riverside Walkway, SE1" at 12.15 for the celebrity extravaganza. In case you were wondering, The Octagon is the wide expanse on the riverside path just in front of the London Television Centre.
The event was hosted by Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys.
