Wolf Game at the Union Theatre

Jennifer Clapp

Wolf Game combines ideas of Native American culture and the fast paced life-style of the American Northeast to produce a coming of age play about a boy's struggle for identity.

Teen rebelliousness, a mother's actions (and their consequences) and denial all come into account in this new play by Sarah Diamond. Daniel Hart's protrayal of lead character Mike is amazing – he captures the heart, and, more importantly, the soul of a sixteen year old boy. The emotion and life put into the character is gripping and heart wrenching. The cast makes excellent use of the innovative stage space and seem completely comfortable on the set, with each other, and with the audience.
