A 58-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach outside a minicab office in Old Kent Road.

Police were called to Old Kent Road at 4.30am on Saturday to reports of a stabbing outside a cab office near Dover Flats.

The ambulance service also came to the scene and a 58-year-old man with a stab wound to the stomach was taken to a south London hospital where his condition is understood to be stable.

A second man received minor facial injuries and was also taken to hospital for treatment.
