Dust cart overturns at Lambeth Bridge roundabout
A Westminster City Council rubbish truck overturned at the Lambeth Bridge roundabout on Wednesday morning.
Fire crews from Lambeth and Westminster were called to the scene.
The incident led to widespread traffic disruption, with Lambeth Palace Road, Lambeth Road and Lambeth Bridge all partially closed.
The Metropolitan Police was unable to provide an update on the incident at the time of publication.
Just four weeks ago a lorry overturned at Elephant & Castle, filling a pedestrian subway with gravel.
