Osteopaths win Better Bankside pancake race
A team from the British School of Osteopathy won the fifth annual Better Bankside pancake race held in Montague Close on Shrove Tuesday lunchtime.
The winning team
Teams from local businesses including Alan Camp Architects, Etc Venues, Trayport, The Team, Mercure London City Bankside, All Seasons Southwark Rose, Fourth Day and MRM London lined up with their frying pans and pancakes for the annual race.
The winning team receives a trophy created especially for the competition by Bermondsey-based London Glassblowing.
Entry fees from the race are donated to Paintings in Hospitals, the charity which runs the Menier Gallery in Southwark Street.
