Wi-Fi access coming to Waterloo and London Bridge

London SE1 website team

BT Openzone wireless internet access will be available at Waterloo and London Bridge stations in the coming months.

Waterloo is one of 13 key railway stations to be connected by spring of this year – with London Bridge to follow by the summer.

Steve Andrews, managing director, Products, BT Mobile and Strategy, said: "Railway stations have always been a key target for BT Openzone and we are delighted to announce this roll out today. BT now has an unrivalled network of access points at all the premium travel locations, whether you take planes, trains or automobiles.

"This expansion forms part of our strategy of bringing increasing numbers of access points to key locations. You can now realistically leave your hotel, call into McDonald's for a coffee and catch your train and all major stops on your journey will have a BT Openzone access point."

The two new access points will add to the current 11 wi-fi hotspots in SE1.
