Waterloo family now running The Albert Arms
The Albert Arms in Gladstone Street is under new management.
Dorcas and Peter Gibson and their family are now running the pub which stands at the fork of Gladstone Street and Garden Row just off London Road near St George's Circus.
The Gibsons are a SE1 family from Waterloo planning to maintain a friendly family atmosphere. The highlight of the week is the home cooked Sunday lunch.
During Monday to Friday the residents at the bar are joined by lecturers and students from London South Bank University opposite.
Dorcas has worked at The Wellington in Waterloo Road. Peter's experience includes helping to run his parents' restaurant in Hastings.
