Thames Tunnel Public Exhibition

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The Thames Tunnel consultation roadshow is making an extra pre-Christmas stop on the South Bank.

Project staff will be able to answer questions on the need for the 'super sewer' project and specific issues relating to proposed construction sites.

The project exhibition has been touring potentially affected areas since 17 November.

The venue is a stone's throw away from the proposed work site on the foreshore near Victoria Embankment Gardens, required to intercept the Regent Street combined sewer overflow and three other points near the Embankment, which can discharge untreated sewage into the river after rainfall.
