12 noon-4pmBorough Market has teamed up with Southwark Arts Forum to stage a one-day festival of food, art and music.
Borough Market traders will be on hand to offer an artistic afternoon tea with the finest Borough Market produce. Traders opening especially for the event include Oliver's Bakery; Burnt Sugar; Bread Ahead, Comptoir Gourmand and the Turkish Deli.
Alongside Borough Market's traders there will be will be an array of local artists including Rebecca Chitty, offering witty Olympic-inspired tea-towels; Deborah Hayman who makes beautiful hand-crafted jewellery, John Whitfield's haunting photography; and a chance to build your own biscuit skyline with community artist Eleanor Shipman.
Local musicians will perform during the afternoon.
