Natural science collections underpin our understanding of biodiversity, but they also provide an resource for research, education and artistic inspiration.

Join Russell Dornan in a visual exploration of the Horniman Museum's historic natural science collection, where he has been searching for star specimens to share, guided by expert reviewers.

The presentation will take place in the Albert Arms starting at 7.30pm, but there will be people in the pub from 6.30pm for food, drink and discussion.

Science in the Pub meets on the second Monday of every month at the Albert Arms. Entry free, contributions requested towards speakers' expenses. Any surplus at the end of this year will be donated to the Wallace Fund as this is the centenary year of the death of Alfred Russel Wallace.
