A chance to join two guided tours to explore the recently re-designed gardens; the tours will be led by Jubilee Gardens trustees and award-winning landscape architects West 8 , who will be flown from their studio in Rotterdam.

West 8 and the Trustees will provide an insight into the design development process of the gardens amidst a series of site constraints, community engagement and an innovative set-up for longer term sustainability.

The one-hour guided tours will be taking place at 1.30pm and 3.30pm; due to the popularity of the event and the limited placed available, pre-booking via [email protected] will be essential.

Alex Valenzuela from South Bank Employers’ Group, project-managing the Jubilee Gardens of behalf of the Jubilee Gardens Trust, said: “we are very pleased with the invitation to showcase Jubilee Gardens. Since their official re-opening in October 2012, The gardens have received an enormous level of interest from the public and the inclusion in the Open House programme of events will enable visitors to find out firsthand about the gardens' history and their transformation from a featureless patch of land into one of London’s most iconic green spaces”.
