Pancake Day Race

Every year on Shrove Tuesday, Bankside businesses form teams and line up for a fast and furious pancake-flipping relay - a true display of sporting magnificence just on the south side of the Thames.

Pumped-up, cheering crowds are warmly welcomed to support the 25 Bankside businesses showing off their deftness at legging it with a crêpe.

All proceeds go to Paintings in Hospitals, a charity that uses world-class art to inspire better health and wellbeing for patients, carers and communities.

Teams will gather at Marlborough Sports Garden in Bankside at 12 noon; racing
begins at 12.30pm and the whole event finishes after the Grand Final at around 1.30pm

Come down to cheer on Bankside colleagues, friends, families and strangers and to support a great cause.

Delicious pancakes will available to buy throughout.
