Brought to you by Shaky Isles Theatre, Kika Te Poa is written by Matthew Saville and directed by Stella Duffy.

It is a fascinating and challenging look at the relationship between New Zealand and South Africa illustrated by a Maori soldier, his Pakeha mate, their officer and their Afrikaaner prisoner.

The Boer War saw the birth of concentration camps, New Zealand's status as a warrior nation and also international rugby.
