Hubble Bubble Stage

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The Hubble Bubble stage will feature a colourful fusion of music from across the globe. Oojami presents a mesmerising live show that includes belly dancers and whirling dervishes, providing a vivid musical experience for your eyes as well as ears with their multicultural sound. Other groups performing include:

Bos4us and Koma Sersi: authentic Turkish wedding bands playing a mix of music from across Turkey.

Ezgi: folk dance band with eight dancers and two musicians, one playing a mountain clarinet and the other a shoulder drum.

Momo: funky four piece band, playing a variety of traditional Moroccan instruments while also employing a western drum kit and samples. This hybrid is what Momo call Dar music - a contemporary North African groove based sound.

Shish South System: DJ Phil Meadley and DJ Una Musica Brutal (aka DJ Umb) have come together through a mutual love of Arabic music and all things world-flavoured.

The Hubble Bubble stage will be the Festival's global juke box with a fantastic display of live performances throughout the weekend.
