Games, an assortment of stalls and a fashion show are among the enjoyable activities planned for Johanna's Primary School's open afternoon/fun-day.
The aim of the day is twofold, to both showcase the children's work and to bring the local community together and enable them to have their say about local community services.
So while the children are perhaps looking around the stalls, their parents and carers will have the opportunity to put across their views, which will be fed-back to the Council. The consultation will be neither intrusive nor compulsory and less formal than traditional consultation processes in keeping with the event's entertaining atmosphere.
"We are delighted to invite both the children's families and the wider community to visit us to see the children's work," says headteacher Di Morgan.
"They will also have the chance to make their views known, while enjoying a relaxed afternoon."
