From Bach to Iggy Pop, from Laszlo Moholy-Nagy to the Marx Brothers, Canadian artist Tim Lee (born 1975) takes cultural icons and embroils them in witty, conceptual mash-ups.
For his exhibition at The Hayward Project Space, he presents two video installations and two photographic series, each of which explore notions of the original and the copy, and their place in an infinite (cultural) universe.
