The Adventures of Flannery at Roxy Bar & Screen

Sunday 17th August sees a special triple-bill line up of music documentaries, with special guest Cathal Coughlan and director Johnny Gogan introducing the first London screening of "The Adventures of Flannery: A Portrait of Cathal Coughlan". The film focuses on the live performance of the recent musical theatre piece Flannery's Mounted Head and explores the story of Coughlan's journey from bands Microdisney and Fatima Mansions to the present.

Also screening - the recent multi-award winning "Control" (2pm), Anton Corbijn's stunning black and white portrait of Ian Curtis, the lead singer of Joy Division played by brilliant newcomer Sam Riley.

Plus a rare chance to catch another screening of "loudQUIETloud" (5pm) following The Pixies on their 2004 reunion tour and the complex and often fraught relationships between the band members that have developed since their unceremonious split in 1992.
