JAZZ open rehearsal and Meet the Writer 1pm - 3pm. Get a sneak preview of Linda Marshall Griffith's new play about a girl's search for her Jazz musician father, and join the team to learn about the journey from page to stage.

Text Generation (10+) 3.30pm - 4.30pm. The Unicorn's ensemble and young company perform new work created by pupils from Southwark's Walworth Academy in the culmination of a three-month creative writing project.

Story engineering workshop (7+) 2.30pm - 3.30pm. We all know what makes a good story and each of us has our favourites. Help create a group story using improvisation and storytelling.

All Text Lab public events are free but those listed above require booking via the box office on 020 7645 0560.

Drop-in activities at the open day will include live music, performance poetry and storytelling, which don't require booking - just come along and soak up the atmosphere.
