This November choreographer Siobhan Davies invites a number of eminent artists to her RIBA award-winning studios, to talk with other artists about how they make their work.
Tim Crouch is a playwright and performer whose work is performed in theatres and galleries throughout the world. His most recent play, The Author, opened at the Royal Court Theatre in September 2009.
Karl James is director and founder of The Dialogue Project, which aims to inspire and create opportunities for dialogue.
These talks are a development from a number of conversations Siobhan Davies had in 2008 with eight artists from outside the world of dance, taking the word 'choreography' as the trigger.
For Conversations on Making, four of these artists were then asked by Siobhan to choose someone - again from outside their realm of work - to talk about what it is that fires up and sustains the making of their own work.
