The area has been designated as an opportunity area with a target of 25,000 new jobs and 1,900 additional homes by 2026.
The planning framework sets out the overall plan for Bankside, Borough and London Bridge and guidance on:
• Tall buildings and the design of development
• How impacts of development will be addressed
• What uses are appropriate in different places
• How streets, public spaces, links and transport should be improved
