The second annual Frost Fair on Bankside took place on a damp December Friday with the Mayor of Southwark trying out the 30 metre snow slide outside Tate Modern.

Stallholders at the frost fair include Cockfighter of Bermondsey and local photographer Steve Hollingshead.

Shakespeare's Globe has an alternative Frost Fair in the UnderGlobe which continues all weekend.

The snow slide will remain outside Tate Modern until Sunday 9 January. Opening hours: Sun-Thu 10am-6pm; Fri & Sat 10am­10pm (closed 24, 25, 26 December and early closing at 6pm on 31 December); £2 per 3 slides.
