A giant snow slide is to be installed on Bankside over Christmas and the New Year by Southwark Council, offering three goes at 'tubing' for £2.
"The slide promises to be one of the most fun things to do in London this Christmas," Cllr Columba Blango, Southwark's executive member for tourism, told the Evening Standard.
"It's a fantastic way for companies to start off their office parties and it does not involve booking ahead." The four-lane snow slidewill be ready for use on Friday 17 December – the day of the council's Frost Fair event – and will remain on Bankside until early January.
The artificial snow surface will take four days to install.
