Borough Market Director Simon Tattersfield stepped down on Tuesday at the end of his last day at the Trustees' offices.

His departure follows what are described by the Borough Market Trustees as "management changes" at the market which has gained a high profile for its vibrant Friday and Saturday retail food market.
Simon Tattersfield, a Chartered Surveyor and former chief executive of a large housing association, has been thanked by the Trustees for his work over the past five years.
It is understood that a new position of Chief Executive, reflecting a different role, will be advertised early next month.
