Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson filming on South Bank
Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson have returned to the South Bank to work on the Last Chance Harvey film.
Filming took place this week in sunshine on the riverside outside the National Theatre. Last year some early shooting took place near Gabriel's Wharf.
New Yorker Harvey Shine is played by Dustin Hoffman and his London friend Kate by Emma Thompson.
Harvey is in the capital to attend a family wedding and afterwards gets into conversation with civil servant Kate. The South Bank scenes feature a a meeting bwreen the two lead characters near Waterloo Bridge. Other locations include Somerset House on the north bank.
Dame Eileen Atkins plays Kate's mother. The film, due to be released in September, is directed by Joel Hopkins.
