Borough Market offers free wifi to shoppers

"Borough Market has adapted to meet the needs of Londoners for hundreds of years and continues to do so," said Donald Hyslop, chairman of the Borough Market trustees.

"It’s critical that markets respond to the needs of 21st Century customers and the introduction of free wifi is just our latest commitment in ensuring we maintain Borough Market as a thriving and viable resource for the local community."

Managing director Keith Davis added: "Borough Market is getting bang up to date with the introduction of free wifi for all of our customers.

"Now that visitors can get online whilst walking around the market, there are no excuses for not being able to find your favourite stall or discovering something new as you can now log onto our website or tweet us as you shop."
