Tatchell

Stephen has just worked on politician and activist Peter Tatchell's failed election campaign when a former romance finds her way back into his life.

With political failure fresh in his mind, and the abhorrent actions of his father forcing him to question his views, will the return of his former love reinvigorate him, or is the past too great a burden to carry?

Written just before the British election in 2010, Jonathan Bonfiglio's play Tatchell is more relevant now than ever before.

Set in Oxford on the eve of the 2010 general election, the play uses Peter Tatchell's narrative as a Green Party parliamentary candidate in the city before he had to withdraw for health reasons.

Part of The WET REP Season: four plays by three playwrights performed by one company of actors.
