The Piccadilly line was opened as the Great Northern Piccadilly and Brompton Railway on 15 December 1906 between Finsbury Park and Hammersmith.

This exhibition compiled from the archives of London's Transport Museum combines well-known and rarely-seen images, including the architecture of Charles Holden and the Underground shelterers of WWII.
