Berakah Arts, an innovative peace charity dedicated to using music and the arts to cross the boundaries of race, religion and culture, presents a concert held in memory of Ruth Richman, a survivor of Nazi Germany. In 1939 the 6 year-old Ruth and her parents were forced to escape Germany and fled to the relative safety of London.Berakah Arts (Berakah means 'blessing' in Hebrew and Arabic) started as the Berakah Players over a decade ago and has successfully brought together Jewish, Muslim and Christian musicians, playing music with Middle Eastern and Classical influences, interlaced with Rock, Jazz, and Folk themes.

The concert will feature The Berakah Players, Berakah's professional band, along with Sing for Peace, the charity's multi-faith choir and the Increase The Peace youth band.
