Church aim and vision

Aim: To know God and make him known

Vision: To be a growing Christian community where people experience God, share their lives and become more like Jesus.

Role purpose

To release the Leadership Team to focus on prayer, ministry of the word, pastoral care and strategy/direction by running the church in order to see God make a difference in the church and in the local community.

This means working with the LT in ‘deciding what to do’ (strategy), and then having lead responsibility for ‘planning it’ and ‘doing it’ (implementation).

We are a friendly mixed inner-city Baptist Church with a small but growing congregation of all ages. Our vision is to be a growing Christian community, where people experience God, share their lives and become more like Jesus. We are an active part of Christians for Transformation, working with other churches and Christian organisations for transformation in Bermondsey.
