Championing Sustainability in Heritage Traineeship.

The Garden Museum is seeking heritage professionals or graduates who are passionate about sustainability for an exciting new traineeship designed to develop the skills required to place sustainability at the core of Museum practice.

This traineeship is the first of it’s kind, is unique in that it will cover environmental, social and economic areas of sustainability and involves training both at the Garden Museum and with our partners Manchester Museum, Suzanne James ltd, Lambeth Council and Dow Jones Architects.

There is one traineeship available per year, over four years. Each traineeship will begin in April, with the first beginning in April 2011.

Trainees will be paid £16,000 pa and be based onsite at the Garden Museum or host partners for 40 hours per week.
