Borough Market Merchandiser

Saturday 0745 – 1730

Borough Market is looking to recruit a part-time salesperson, 3 days per week with the occasional Sunday, for its own merchandise stall in the Market. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the salesperson will be responsible for the promotion and sale of a range of Borough Market branded merchandise including shopping bags, aprons and oven gloves.
The merchandiser will be based in the Market and will be required to fully set up and re-stock the stall in addition to the usual sales duties.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic with a flexible, positive attitude, proven sales experience and will enjoy working autonomously as well as being part of a team. Experience with cash handling is required. Honesty and punctuality are also a prerequisite, as is an enjoyment of working outside all year round.
An interest in Borough Market and/or working in a market environment is essential for this role, as are good communication and interpersonal skills.
