Raise the profile of Bankside as a prime visitor destination, promoting attractions, events venues and festivals to a global audience and building the reputation of Bankside as a world class tourist destination.

Oversee the organisation's public relations, brand and communications activities.

Deliver Better Bankside's programme of public festivals and events.

Person description

We are looking for someone with at least five years' post-qualification experience in a marketing role and a proven track record of designing and delivering marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders from business and the public sector are also essential.

About Better Bankside

Better Bankside is a Business Improvement District (BID) in Southwark, London. Its job is to make Bankside a thriving place to work, live and visit. A Business Improvement District (BID) is an independent, business-owned and led company, which seeks to improve a given location for commercial activity. Better Bankside's members are the 480+ companies in the BID area (between Blackfriars Bridge on the west and London Bridge in the east, and south from the River as far as Union Street and Borough Station) who pay its annual 'levy'.
