About this role

We are looking to recruit an experienced accounts/admin person to assist the M.D. in the day to day running of a small but busy office. The company is in the B2B telecoms sector, specialising in the supply and support of mobiles/ smartphones to business customers. The position is offered on a part-time basis only.

The main purpose of the role is to free up the increasingly burdened M.D. from day to day accounting and administrative/ office duties. Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills are therefore essential for the role.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties will include full responsibility for day-to-day book-keeping/accounting matters using Quickbooks. (Proficiency with this package is an absolute pre-requisite). Advanced level Excel and solid experience of MS Word an advantage.

Other general office duties include the usual responsibility for regular document filing/archiving, dealing with external service suppliers (stationery, office and window cleaners, landlord, post office, etc.), and generally assisting the M.D. with general management/admin tasks.

Essential / Desirable
The successful candidate will be used to working in a busy admin/ back-office environment, have a positive attitude, able to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision.
