About this role

Principal purpose

To safeguard the financial health and well-being of the UK’s leading social change PR agency, liaising as necessary with Forster’s external accountants and auditors.

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced accountant to provide outstanding, hands-on financial management, analysis, reporting and trouble-shooting support to Forster’s front-line PR Practices and Board in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

This is a unique role at the heart of the business so you need to be outgoing, collaborative and totally trustworthy, able to spread your magic into the furthest reaches of the company.

You will work closely with other members of the General Management team, including the Office Manager and COO, to maximise Forster’s overall operational efficiency and ensure we are the SME employer of choice in the sector.

About you

You will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role; obsessive attention to detail; excellent organisation, time management and communication skills; be systems and IT savvy; and be able to work under pressure while staying focused . Prior experience in a forward thinking, medium-sized, sustainable business or the PR/media industry desirable but not essential.
