Permanent

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving, ambitious and dynamic team of fundraisers working on a varied portfolio of supporter recruitment and development projects. You will gain experience of a wide variety of fundraising techniques and have the chance to develop your writing, database and project management skills.

Person description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is keen to learn more about fundraising and support the campaign for global justice by helping us raise money and recruit and retain committed supporters. You will be an all-rounder with an enthusiasm for numbers as well as the more creative aspects of the role and have a flexible, team-oriented outlook.

We welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic group but, as members of ethnic minority groups are currently under-represented at this level, we would encourage applications from members of these groups.

If you are interested in the post and believe you can contribute to fundraising at WDM, we would really like to hear from you.

About World Development Movement

The World Development Movement is a democratic social justice organisation working to challenge power in order to create a more just and equal world. We want economic and social justice – where the world’s resources and decisions about how they’re used lie in the hands of the many, not the few. We campaign as part of a global movement to expose and confront injustice and promote alternatives to a world run for profit rather than people.

WDM offers a non-contributory pension, 25 days holiday a year and flexible working.
